The use of humidified gases has been shown to provide improvements in admission temperature (i.e., a reduction in instance of hypothermia) [1,2] while also supporting better respiratory function[3]. NeoFlow® humidified resuscitation limbs can provide respiratory support through both face mask or tracheal tube.
Further benefits include:
NeoFlow® humidified resuscitation circuits are designed for straightforward transitioning from resuscitation to CPAP for ongoing respiratory support in the delivery room.
By adding a CPAP interface, the same circuit can be used to deliver CPAP, minimising disruption and ensuring efficient, humidified gas delivery to baby.
This allows for effective stabilisation of newborns in the delivery suite, helping to maintain functional residual capacity and reducing the need for early escalation of care.
