No-Touch Blade Block
Cross infection from laryngoscope handles can be as high a risk as contamination from blades themselves due to contaminated blade tips making contact with the barrel of the handle. However, poor cleaning regimes on reusable handles can cause handles to recontaminate any other blades attached to the same handle. ‘No -Touch’ design prevents the blade tip from touching the handle. An essential feature when using reusable handles.
