Your lungs are like two balloons inside your chest
When you breathe in, they fill up with air, just like blowing up a balloon.

Lungs work every minute of every day
Sometimes when you are sick and your lungs are not working as they should, you might find it harder to breathe or have a whistling or squeaky sound when you breathe in.
Your chest might feel tight or sore and you might be feeling more sleepy than usual.
BUT DON'T WORRY !
The nurses in hospital can help!
They put you on the right machine to get your lungs working again, so it’s important that you do as they say.
